Laura provides strategic legal advice across all areas of estate law. She assists individuals, families, entrepreneurs and business owners with wills, estate and trust planning, business succession planning, incapacity matters and planned charitable giving in a manner that is both tax efficient and in line with their values and objectives. Laura supports executors in administering estates from beginning to end, and she advises executors and other fiduciaries in all aspects of estate and trust administration. While Laura’s focus is on estate matters, she has broad experience in corporate law, charity law, real estate and commercial finance. In all areas, she puts the needs of her clients first.
Laura enjoys participating in events that make her community better, including providing legal information to the public. She has presented to large groups of individuals and to corporations on estate-planning pitfalls, and on tips and strategies to create workable estate plans that create peace of mind.
When not practicing law or participating in community events, Laura enjoys travelling, learning languages (and practicing her French and Spanish), and spending time with her husband Mark and their 160-pound rescue dog Bear.
